BIO

Nick Hook is a producer, DJ, and label founder working between Brooklyn and Medellín. He runs Calm + Collect — the label, studio, and world he's been building since 2013 — out of thespacepit.

Production credits across hip-hop and electronic: Action Bronson, Run The Jewels, 21 Savage, Gangsta Boo, Big Boi, Young Thug, Flatbush Zombies, Bodega Bamz, GTA. Long-running collaborations with Gareth Jones (Spiritual Friendship) and Cubic Zirconia.

First band: MWC — major-label run on Reprise / Warner Bros, 2004–2008. RBMA Madrid 2011 class.
