THE STORY
SPORTS was a DJ trio active 2007–2010 — GLUE, Daryl Palumbo (Glassjaw / Head Automatica), and Nick Hook. Interviewed in Alternative Press and TUNED magazine (UK), short-lived but tight-knit, playing parties all over the US.
The crew put out exactly one mix together: "I'm Hungry" (2007) — open-format freestyle, breaks, dance, and house heavy on the 1990s. Handed out on CD at Cardboard City events through 2010.
Release party: CMJ week, The Knitting Factory NYC, October 20, 2007 — with DJ sets by F. Sean Martin (House of Blow / XO Skeletons), Chauncey Turbo, Defidelity 6-5000 (Shanedaddy & Josh Link), and DJ Odi.
