thirty days, sixty producers from around the world in one building, a different lecturer every morning. erykah badu, gareth jones, young guru, tom zé, francesco tristano. and the rest of us in studios off the hallway making stuff with people we'd never have crossed paths with otherwise.
rbma shut down in 2019 and most of the archive went with it. the curated playlists, the per-class rooms, the lecture index — gone. the original 2011 playlist someone made of our class returns "the playlist does not exist." the academy era is mostly memory now.
