BIO
Sinister Dane is a St Louis post-punk / funk band rooted in the early-'90s Midwest scene. Originally signed to a Columbia major-label deal, debut LP in 1994. After a CBGB set, Living Colour took them on tour; they opened for Public Enemy, No Doubt, 24-7 Spyz, and 311.
Long dormant, they returned in 2023 with "The Claws of Time" (CC009) — ten tracks largely drawn from material dating back to 1990–91. Vocalist / bassist Donald Williams is the through-line to Superhero Killer.
