BIO
Lucki — Chicago rapper, born Lucki Camel Jr. Came up in the early-2010s as Lucki Eck$, dropping cloud-rap-adjacent mixtapes (Alternative Trap, Y, Body High) that mixed deadpan slacker delivery with woozy, drugged-out production. Equal parts Curren$y, Boldy James, and Atlanta. Has since dropped the dollar sign and become one of the most distinctive voices in modern Midwestern rap.
'Weightin' On' (feat. Danny Brown) was a 2014 Red Bull Sound Select-era single — exactly the kind of cross-generational pairing the moment was producing.
